Boal & Co - registered with IPA as professional Schemes Administrator

Boal & Co (Pensions) Ltd was successful in its application to the Isle of Man Government Insurance and Pensions Authority (IPA) as a professional Registered Schemes Administrator, effective 9th April 2003. Under section 36 of The Retirement Benefits Schemes Act 2000, pension scheme administrators must be registered by the IPA. Although this requirement is not yet in force in relation to domestic Isle of Man pension schemes, it is expected to be brought in by regulations during 2003/2004.

To anticipate any forthcoming changes, Boal & Co (Pensions) Ltd - the pensions subsidiary of Boal & Co - sought and successfully gained registration from the IPA as a professional Registered Schemes Administrator.
