Boal & Co provide a full range of administrative services to larger company pension schemes (250+ members) in the Isle of Man. Some of these schemes also include members based in Jersey and Guernsey.
Our Actuarial services include Scheme Actuary appointments, providing regular funding valuations and advice for international pension schemes. We can also produce accounting disclosures which comply with the appropriate standards. A wide range of consultancy services are also available to schemes and trustees.
All schemes are required to have at least one trustee who is 'independent' of the employer. Our experience of all aspects of pension schemes means that we are expertly positioned to act as independent trustee.
IPPs offer a single plan to employees irrespective of where they are based, allowing for regular, consistent contributions which is simpler to administer and monitor than running many disparate plans.
Boal & Co offer a number of our own established domestic and overseas Master Trust schemes, including those with QROPS approval. More information can be found in the 'Our Schemes' section of our website.
For Isle of Man residents with substantial UK and/or domestic IOM pension funds (typically £200,000 plus), a bespoke SIPP can provide valuable taxation advantages and estate planning solutions in addition to offering increased investment flexibility.
